New Brand: The North Face!
The newest addition to our range of brands is The North Face! Fifty years ago, the original iteration of The North Face was founded on a beach in San Francisco, a far cry from the type of conditions that they would begin to create clothing for.
The shop was branded as The North Face and moved to the other side of the San Francisco bay in 1968. It was here that they began to create their own brand of mountaineering apparel and equipment. From 1966 through to the end of the decade, The North Face sponsored events in a wide range of countries across the world, creating further awareness of the brand which would grab the attention of many outdoor fanatics.
Over the next couple of decades, The North Face added skiwear as well as camping equipment such as sleeping bags, packs and tents. In the 1990’s they went into sportswear which helped to broaden their potential markets to include climbers, backpackers, hikers and trail runners. The North Face now provides deep ranges of apparel, equipment and footwear.
In our range of The North Face products, we have a selection of jackets, trousers, shorts, shirts, t-shirts, fleeces, footwear as well as equipment and accessories.
Our current best-selling jacket is the Arrano Shell Jacket. This particular jacket is both waterproof and breathable, with a mesh taffeta lining. As well as this, it also has a brushed knit chin guard lining as well as both zip and button closure and an adjustable hood. Further features include two chest pockets as well as two zipped, water repellent pockets.
The range of equipment and accessories features caps, a sports bra and a wallet, with the most prominent item being bags such as backpacks, duffle bags and waist packs. One of the most popular bags is the Pivoter 27 litre backpack. It’s designed to be very comfortable with its moulded shoulder straps, padded back panel and supportive spine channel. There’s also plenty of room to store all of your belongings in an organised way, thanks to the internal compartments as well as water bottle pockets.
We have a selection of trainers, shoes and sandals in our footwear range, including options for both men and ladies. The Litewave Ampere Trainers include a breathable mesh throughout, a toe cap for protection and an EVA midsole. The upper of the trainer is made from Welded-TPU, the underfoot and midsole are both made from EVA whilst the outsole is made from UltrATAC rubber.
