Get ready for summer with our latest brand, O’Neill!
The weather might not give that impression, but we’re getting closer to summer – at last! In preparation for the upcoming months, here is a snapshot of our brand new range, introducing… O’Neill!
O’Neill was founded in 1952 by Jack O’Neill who has been credited with inventing the wetsuit. Later that year, O’Neill opened the worlds very first surf shop – basing it in San Francisco. Over the coming years, O’Neill expanded rapidly in terms of its product range but also its popularity.
Over the course of the 1960’s and 70’s, O’Neill invented the iconic Long John & Short John wetsuits, as well as Neoprene snow pants and the airtight survival suit for the sea known simply as the SuperSuit. The 1980’s saw the creation of the O’Neill World Cup of Snowboarding as well as the emergence of Jack’s son Pat, who invented the first surf leash. O’Neill has innovated countless times since its creation in the early 1950’s, helping it to become one of the leading surfboard and surfwear brands in the world.
O’Neill Men’s Flip Flop Sandals and Sneaker Shoes
The men’s axed flip flop sandals are available in grey, brown and black and come with a number of key features. The main materials used to form the flip flop are cotton and textile, but they do have a leather footbed along with washed, raffled canvas straps. The lining is made of cotton with a triple layer of EVA designed for a soft ride.
In terms of sneaker shoes, we have six different styles, each with its own set of features but all created using either textile or twill combined with canvas. The ‘Docker’ is lightweight with a canvas upper and reinforced with suede. The ‘Snapper’ is a slip-on shoe, but that is the most noticeable aspect that differs it away from the ‘Fakey’ and ‘Amped’ shoes which both have round, suede laces. Apart from that, all three shoes have oiled leather trims, a rubber sole and a bleached, stonewashed canvas upper. Lastly, the ‘Santa Cruz’ and ‘Psycho’ shoes have: cotton laces, a rubber sole and a removable insole – with the latter having the benefit of a canvas upper with handfinished dipdye treatment.
O’Neill Women’s Flip Flop Sandals
For ladies flip flop sandals, we have two different styles, each coming in a variety of different colours. The FTW style has a classic sole and is made of 100% PVC, in comparison to the slightly more expensive FTM version, which has a patterned sole, is made of 100% PU and also has woven straps.
All of the mentioned products are now available at great prices, both on our website and in our outlet store in Macclesfield. We offer free delivery for purchases over the price of £50 and free exchanges. We hope to see you soon!
