5 Great Plus Size Workwear Options
We believe it’s wrong that they don’t and offer many fine items of clothing which suit everyone from the extra small to the extra large. Nobody should be left out or forced to wear something different just because of their size.
So with this in mind, we’ve pulled together for you FIVE top quality, low cost items of workwear from our range, which when added together, make a very fine uniform for staff of all sizes.
Trousers
Starting with a pair hardwearing workwear trousers, we think that these excellent UCC Workwear Heavyweight Combat Trousers make for an excellent purchase. These trousers are available in both navy blue and black which flatters all body shapes. They are also available in sizes 30” to 46” waist and available in various leg lengths. There’s no reason not to choose this fantastic pair of workwear trousers if you’re after some plus size clothing.
Shirt
For a shirt, we have kept things somewhat casual, and chosen a great Gildan Heavyweight Polo Shirt for you. This polo shirt is available in a variety of chest sizes, all they way up to an XXL which measures in at 54” in size. This polo shirt is great for embroidery, and comes in a huge selection of colours, so you’re bound to find one which matches your corporate identity.
Sweatshirt
If you’re teaming a sweatshirt with what we’ve got so far, we recommend a smart v-neck option, and for those in a larger size, we believe you can’t go wrong with a Uneek Value Premium V-Neck Sweatshirt, which comes in sizes XS all the way to 4XL. It will look great over the top of the polo shirt we picked out earlier, and it also looks great embroidered.
Jacket
If you’re not a fan of sweatshirts, or it’s just really cold then a jacket will be very helpful. A great option for staff of all sizes is this Dickies Lewis Jacket, which comes in sizes which range from M to XXXL which will fit a 56” chest. This jacket is available in a flattering dark blue or black, and is water resistant.
Shoes
When it comes to shoes, it really depends on what sort of work you are doing, so it’s difficult for us to pick out a pair. However we do believe that these Black Value Welted Safety Shoes look rather good, and offer great value, as well as conforming with EN345 standards. They are also available in a comprehensive range of sizes from 4-12, which should accommodate most sizes. If you require sizes smaller or larger than that, we suggest you call our sales team on 0844 209 6389 who can guide you to a terrific pair of shoes or boots.
So as you’ll see, there’s a great range of items on offer at Brookes for workers of all sizes, so if your staff come in all shapes and sizes, there’s no reason anyone should miss out have to stand out.
One thing we would recommend however is always checking the size guide before you add to your basket. For example, the Dickies Jacket in 3XL (56” chest) is larger than the Uneek Jumper in 4XL (54” chest).
We also offer exceptional value. That outfit we picked out there costs less than £80 per person, and it costs even less if you order several at a time.
